Welcome to Sequim Family Farms, LLC. We are located in the Dungeness valley on the Olympic Peninsula in northwestern Washington, a place known for its beautiful vistas of the Olympic Mountains, rugged coastline, fertile soils and mild climate. Centuries old apple trees are scattered through-out the country side surrounded by Lavender fields. Sequim Family Farms has taken these two local products and created gourmet apple sauces including Lavender apple sauce, apple topping and Katie's apple butter.
Sequim Family Farms founders have over three decades of experience in the growing and harvesting of apples; add to that, family recipes that have been passed down for many generations and the results are a unique line of apple products so rich in flavor that they have no need for any additional sugar. These products are sure to please even the pickiest of eaters.
The original founders Gary Smith and John Junell have been searching for a business that would help support the Olympic Valley's existing agricultural culture. Both Smith and Junell have had family orchards for over 35 years. LeRoy Beers, the third member of the Sequim Family Farms Founders, had recently moved to the area and has increased his small family orchard as well.
Keeping to the business model of bringing and building up business in the Olympic Peninsula, Sequim Family Farms, has taken residence in what used to be the Milkey Creamery off of Cays Road, just outside of Sequim. The 2300 square foot plant has 1200 square foot refrigerator and 2100 cubic feet of sub-zero freezer making it perfect for our ever-expanding business.
We are always adding new products to our line, and the demand for them is growing continually. Visit us often to get an update on products and availability. |
